आत्म-प्रत्याशा और आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा 

आपके साथ आपके परिवार, दोस्तों और परिचितों के द्वारा जिस तरह से व्यवहार किया जाता है उसका आपकी आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा पर बड़ा प्रभाव पड़ता है। लेकिन, इससे भी ज्यादा एक अधिक महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति के द्वारा आपके साथ जिस तरह से बर्ताव किया जाता है उसका आपके ऊपर सर्वाधिक प्रभाव पड़ता है - और वह व्यक्ति है -  आप स्वयं। हम अपने आप से जो भी बातें कहते हैं उनका हमारी आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा पर अधिकतम प्रभाव पड़ता है। कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोग स्वयं के बारे में कहते हैं, "मैँ कुछ भी नहीं हूं, और मैं कुछ भी नहीं कर सकता। "उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोग स्वयं से ये कहते हैं कि, "में भी कुछ हूं, और मैं जो भी बात दिमाग में लाता हू, उसे कर सकता हूं।"

यही आत्म-प्रत्याशा की शक्ति है। यदि आपको लगता है आप किसी काम में सफल हो जाएंगे, तो आप निश्चित रूप से सफल होंगे। अगर आपको लगता है कि आप असफ़ल हो जाएंगे, संभव है कि आपका दिमाग ही आपकी असफ़ल करने की साजिश रच दे। 

आत्म-प्रत्याशा कौशल या क्षमता की तरह नहीं है। इसकी बजाए, ये आप में पहले से मौजूद अपनी योग्यता और कौशल के द्वारा कुछ महत्वपूर्ण करने का विश्वास होता है। दूसरे शब्दों में, इसका मतलब ये नहीं है कि आप वास्तव में क्या हासिल कर सकते हैं, बल्कि इस सोच के बारे में है कि आप क्या हासिल कर सकते हैं।

आत्म प्रत्याशा सफल होने और लक्ष्य प्राप्त करने की अपनी क्षमता में हमारा बिश्वास होने से आती है। इस विश्वास का निर्माण करने का एक शानदार तरीका यह है कि हम अपने पुराने लक्ष्य। और सफलताओं को अच्छी तरह से परखें। ये तरीका हमें इस बात को याद दिलाने में मदद करता है कि हमारे पास पहले से ही कितने कौशल और उपलब्धियाँ मौजूद है।

बचकर निकलने वाली आदत कुछ समय के लिए असुविधा को कम कर देती है, लेकिन आपको इस भावना के साथ छोड जाती है कि आप इस स्थिति से निपटने में असमर्थ रहे हैं।

Self-expectancy and self-respect

 People with low self-esteem are likely to fail, whether it is a financial crisis, poor health, and troubled relationships;  This usually always comes as a truth.  People with high self-esteem are expected to succeed, have financial security, have good health and happy relationships;  And it always comes true for them as well.

 This is the power of self-anticipation.  If you think you will succeed in something, you will definitely succeed.  If you think that you will fail, it is possible that your brain is planning to fail.

 Self-expectancy is not like skill or ability.  Instead, it is the confidence of you to do something important with your already existing abilities and skills.  In other words, it is not about what you can actually achieve, but rather about thinking about what you can achieve.

 Our sense of self-expectancy also affects how hard we work towards achieving the goals we choose, and how to face the obstacles that come our way.  If we are confident that we can achieve our goals, then we are determined to face difficulties and motivate ourselves.  However, if our perception is such that our goals are beyond our reach, then we will quickly give up as the difficulties grow.

 Develop self expectancy

 The level of anticipation or desire of most of us is much lower than our capacity and desires.  It is almost as if we are waiting for someone to come and confirm whether we deserve more challenges, whereas in reality, no one can do it except our own.

 There is a big true story that throws light on this thing.  Years ago, it was a stormy night when an elderly couple entered the hotel and asked for a room.  The clerk replied that.  "I'm sorry." Our hotel had come to demand a conference full of groups of people.  Usually, I would send you to another hotel if the hotel is full, but in such a storm I cannot think of asking you to go out again.  Why don't you both stay in my room?  This true story has a message for each of us.  It is not that, if we are a good person, then the real millionaire will come for us and will fulfill all our dreams in one stroke, however, who would not like to be so.  Here this message is in the form of a question: Do we need an outsider to come to believe in our dreams?  How would it be if an outsider comes and sees such abilities in us, which we seldom see in ourselves?  By keeping a real eye on these expectations, where we stand in relation to those achievements, we can succeed on our own without any help.

 Self-expectancy comes from our confidence in our ability to succeed and achieve goals.  A great way to build this trust is that we our old goals.  And test successes thoroughly.  This method helps remind us of how many skills and achievements we already have.

 Are you worried that you don't have much to be proud of?  That's an idea for loading your low self-dignity.  If you have low self-esteem, it is difficult to identify your own achievements.  Achievement or accomplishment is something you achieve through hard work, skill or conviction.  On achieving any achievement, it is not necessary that someone should honor us with a certificate or a trophy.  No one other than you can know what your biggest achievement is.  They are important only for your work.  For example, learning to operate a computer, recovering from illness, starting studies again, or coming out of the shock of a personal loss, these are some of your accomplishments.  The point is that you put your efforts, skills, and perseverance to accomplish the work that matters most to you.

 Creating Successful Experts Another great way to increase your self-expectancy is to create a series of increasingly challenging goals and get ready to meet them.  By doing this, you will get the feeling that you believe only by doing what you decide.  As you set your goals, it would be best to focus on your specific areas where you can achieve measurable results.  For example, suppose you are afraid to speak in front of people.  Now here, instead of having vague goals, "developing public speaker skills" can create a series of challenging clever goals for yourself, like:

 1. Join one four psychology class discussion per week.

 2. Join three four psychology class discussions per week.

 3. Join the discussion of psychology class everyday.

 4. Taking part in a group presentation at the end of the semester in psychology class.

 5. Performing solo at the club meeting in the next quarter.

 6. Making a speech at the school meeting at the end of the year.

 As you move from one goal to another, your confidence in your abilities will increase.  Once you have created self-expectancy in one area of ​​your life, you can move from one area to the next.

 Facing and escaping as your confidence in yourself and your skills grows, you get the courage to face the toughest challenges.  Among the challenges of life, the biggest challenge is to face painful problems.  To face means to stand firm in the face of fearful or uncomfortable situations.  Such frightening situations can be a problem in a situation, a bad habit, a problem at work or school, or a thing that is unpleasant or tragic.  Regardless of the consequences, whenever we face a problem - our self-esteem increases.

 The opposite of facing is to escape from that situation.  This is a trend in which we run away from uncomfortable situations or psychological realities rather than face them.  Whenever we run away from something that we should face, our self-esteem decreases.  The more we run, the more damage our self-esteem causes.  Typically the behavior of survivors includes:

 ★ self-criticism

 ★ make fun of the situation

 ★ Be immersed in work to avoid thinking about the problem

 ★ Migration through activities such as shopping, watching TV, or sleeping

 ★ Bring out unpleasant feelings without doing anything

 ★ resort to alcohol or other drugs

 The habit of escaping reduces discomfort for some time, but leaves you with the feeling that you have been unable to cope with the situation.

जहां एक तरफ कुछ लोग कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा से पीडित होते हैं, भले ही ऐसा लगता है कि "उनके पास सब कुछ है" वही दूसरी तरफ कुछ लोग थोड़ा कम भी हो तो भी वे खुद को बहुत अच्छा मानते हैं।

कुछ परिवारों में, बच्चों को बिना शर्त सकारात्मक सम्मान प्राप्त नहीं होता। उसके बजाय उन्हें यह कहा जाता है कि अगर वे एक खास तरीके से कोई काम करेंगे तभी उम्हें प्यार और स्वीकार्यता मिलेगी। उदाहरण के तौर पर कुछ माता-पिता बच्चों से मांग रखते हैं कि उन्हें स्कूल में पूरे अंक लाने पड़ेंगे या खेल में सबसे आगे निकलना होगा। ऐसे माता-पिता अपने बच्चों को शर्त के साथ सकारात्मक सम्मान प्यार और स्वीकार्यता देते हैं कि वे एक खास तरीके से बर्ताव करेंगे।

मदद और अकेलापन जब हम बड़े हो जाते हैं यानी वयस्क होने तक भी हमें स्वीकृति और प्यार की जरूरत बनी रहती है, वह खत्म नहीं हाती। इससे फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि हमारी उम्र कितनी है, हम सभी की इस बात को महसूस करने की जरूरत रहती है कि हमारे सामाजिक परिवेश में हम पर ध्यान दिया जाए, हमें तारीफ मिले, और हमारा मान बढ़े। हमारी मदद करने वाले दूसरे लोगों के अच्छे शब्द और उनके काम, मान बढाने, फिक्र करने वाले और ऐसे समुदाय से जोड़ने वाले होते हैं, जिसे हम सामाजिक मदद कहते हैं। सामाजिक मदद भी आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा को बढावा देती है। 

सामाजिक मदद दो बुनियादी रूपों में मिलती हैं: भावनात्मक मदद और साधनात्मक मददा भावनात्मक मदद विश्वास, संवेदना, देखभाल, प्यार. फिक्र और बिना शर्त के स्वीकार्यता देना होता है। साधनात्मक मदद में किसी को संसाधन देकर मदद करना होता है, जैसै पैसा, श्रम, समय, सलाह ओंर कोई जानकारी देना। जो व्यक्ति आपकी भावनात्मक मदद देता है यह आपक विचारों और भावनाओ को सुनता है, आपकी प्रोत्साहित करता है, गले लगाता है, और आपको अपने महत्व के बारे में याद दिलाता है। जो व्यक्ति आपको साधनात्मक मदद देता है वह आपको उस समय मदद करता है वह आपको किसी सलाह की, नौकरी की, कर्ज की, डॉक्टर के पास ले जाने की, या किसी और अच्छे काम में मदद पाने की जरूरत होती है। 

ऐसे लोग जिन्हें पर्याप्त सामाजिक समर्थन या मदद नहीं मिलती वे कम आत्म-विश्वास से दुखी और अकेलापन का शिकार होते हैं। अकेलापन का मतलब केवल अकेला रहना भर नहीं है। अधिकांश लोगों को कभी-न-कभी या अवसर अकेला रहना पसंद होता है। वास्तविक अकेलापन अकेले रहने से आई उदासी होती है। हममें से अधिकांश लोग समय-समय पर अकेलापन से जूझते हैं। बहुत से किशोर और युवा दुनिया में अपनी जगह खोजने के लिए संघर्ष के दौरान अकेलापन का सामना करते हैं।

 Help and Loneliness When we grow up, that is, we need acceptance and love till we reach adulthood, it does not end.  No matter how old we are, we all need to feel that in our social environment, we are given attention, we get praise, and our value should be increased.  The good words and actions of other people who help us, are value-added, worry-free and connect with a community that we call social help.  Social support also promotes self-respect.

 Social help comes in two basic forms: emotional help and emotional help. Emotional help is trust, compassion, care, love.  Acceptance has to be taken care of and unconditional.  In practical help, one has to help by giving resources, such as giving money, labor, time, advice and information.  The person who gives you emotional help listens to your thoughts and feelings, encourages, hugs you, and reminds you of your importance.  The person who provides you with practical help helps you at that time. You need to get any advice, job, loan, take you to the doctor, or help in any other good work.

 People who do not get enough social support or help are hurt and lonely with low self-confidence.  Loneliness does not mean just being alone.  Most people like to be alone sometimes or on occasion.  The real loneliness is the sadness that comes from being alone.  Most of us struggle with loneliness from time to time.  Many teenagers and youth face loneliness during the struggle to find their place in the world.

 Shyness and self-respect

 People suffering from shyness often feel extremely lonely.  Such shyness arises out of fear of worry about what people think of us in social situations.  Extreme shyness leads us to distraction, the result of which is that we are barely able to talk to others or we can get eye to eye.

 People suffering from low self-esteem often experience shyness.  They do not feel comfortable with themselves, which also makes them difficult to be comfortable with others.  Even they abstain from getting up and running with people everyday so that no one faces or criticizes them.  They are even more misunderstood and feel most isolated in challenging or awkward situations.

 Both loneliness and shyness can be harmful to self-esteem.  They can cause even more damage when you start blaming yourself for erosion or social erosion.  If you lack social skills, then it becomes very difficult for you to take any initiative yourself.  Here it becomes important to convince oneself that there are people who love and appreciate you.
