आत्म-स्वीकृति आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा 

पिछले सेक्शन में, हमने देखा कि आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा किस तरह से पैदा होती है और आपकी आत्म प्रतिष्ठा को कम या ज्यादा करने में आत्म-प्रत्याशा की क्या भूमिका होती है। अब हम आत्म-स्वीकृति पर ध्यान देंगे। आत्म-स्वीकृति का मतलब हैं कि उन बातों को पहचानना और स्वीकार करना जो आपके बारे में सही हैं। 

आत्म-स्वीकृति आपको अपने और दूसरे लोगों के असंभव मानकों पर खरे न उतरने की स्थिति में स्वयं की आलोचना करने से बचाती है। यह आपको खुद की खोज करने और आपके अंदर जो वास्तविक गुण है उसे व्यक्त करने में सक्षम बनाती है। जब आप आत्म-स्वीकृति का आनंद लेते हैं, तो आप पाते हैं कि आप जैसै है उसी रूप में बहुत अच्छे हैं। क्या हुआ कि आपकी अभी कईं चीजों में सुधार करना बाकी है? क्या हुआ जो कमी-कभी आप देर कर जाते हैं, या अपना आपा खो देते हैं या गाडी बहुत तेज चलाते हैं? इन सबके बावजूद आप आदर, प्रेम, और सफलता पाने योग्य हैं। यही कारण है कि प्रभावशाली मनोवैज्ञानिक अल्फ्रेड एडलर ने आत्म-स्वीकृति को " अपूर्ण होने का साहस " कहा है। 

आप , खामियां और सभी 

आपकी आत्म-छवि आपकी आत्म-स्वीकृति के स्तर को प्रतिबिंबित करती है। जब हमारी आत्म-छवि स्वस्थ होती है, तो हम अपनी शक्तियों और कमजोरियों दोनों को देखते हैं और उम्हें स्वीकार करते हैं। लेकिन जब हमारी आत्म-छवि स्वस्थ नहीं होती है. तब हम केवल अपनी कमजोरियों पर ध्यान देते हैं और खुद को अस्वीकार करने लगते हैं। 

जो लोग खुद को स्वीकार करते हैं और जो खुद को खारिज करते हैं, उनके बीच का अंतर उनके अंदर स्थित कमजोरियों की संख्या नहीं है, यह वह तरीका है जिससे वे उन कमजोरियों को देखते हैं। सकारात्मक छवि वाले लोगों को एहसास होता है कि उनमें कमजोरियों की तुलना में बहुत अधिक शक्ति है। वे अपनी कमजोरियों को स्वीकार करते हैं, लेकिन उनके द्वारा परेशान नहीं होते हैं। वे जानते हैं कि वे सृजन का अनूठा उपहार हैं, उनके पास कौशल और व्यक्तिगत गुणों के संयोजन में ऐसी खूबियां हैं जो किसी और के पास नहीं। 

आप अपनी "खामियों" के बारे में कैसा महसूस करते हैं इस बात का भी आपकी आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा पर प्रभाव पड़ता है। यदि आप अपनी कमजोरियों को लेकर शर्मं या ग्लानि महसूस करते हैं- भले ही आपको दूसरे कामों में अपनी खूबियों पर गर्व हो-तो भी आपकी आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा प्रभावित होगी। अब जरा, गैरी का उदाहरण लीजिए। गैरी जानता है कि वह एक बेहतरीन छात्र और कार्यकर्ता है और वह अपने साथियों के बीच लोकप्रिय भी है। फिर भी, वह अपने अधिक वजन को लेकर शर्मिंदा है। ये शर्म उसकी संपूर्ण आत्म-छवि को विषैला कर देती है। जब भी दो अपने बारे में सोचता है, तो उसका ध्यान केवल उसके मोटे होने पर जाता है। उसके लिए बाकी की सफलताएं कोई खास मायने नहीं रखती। 

ऐस्ले नाम की लइकी को भी कुछ ऐसी ही परेशानी है। वह अपने रूप-रंग, एथलेटिक क्षमता, और सामाजिक कौशल को लेकर आश्वस्त है लेकिन उसे अपनी इंटेलीजेंस को लेकर कई संशय है। वास्तव में, वह खुद को एक अति मूर्ख होने जैसा महसूस करती है। उसकी आत्म-स्वीकृति उस समय और चोट खती है जब कोई सक्षम व्यक्ति उससे कहता है कि वह " अपने दिमाग का उपयोग नहीं करती" और "उसके लिए उम्मीदें दम तोड़ रही हैं।" 

गैरी और ऐस्ले को अपनी भावनाओं को असलियत से अलग करके देखने में मुश्किल हो रही हैं। चूकि वे स्वयं को अक्षम महसूस करते हैं, तो उन्हें लगता हैं कि दूसरा हर कोई उम्हें इसी नजर से देख रहा होगा।

नकारात्मक आत्म-छवि क्रो सुधारना 

अगर आपकी आत्म-छवि नकारात्मक है, तो आप इसे कैसे बदल सकते हैं? सबसे पहले, आपको यह स्वीकार करना जरूरी है कि यह बिगडी हुई है। ये हमेशा इतना आसान नहीं होता। एक बार जब आपकी आत्म-छवि आपके दिमाग में जमकर बैठ जाती है, तो हम " इसे पूरी तरह से सच मानने लगते हैं। 

हम खुद से ये भी नहीं पूछते कि कहीं ये गलत तो नहीं है। दुर्भाग्य से, अगर आपकी आत्म-छवि नकारात्मक है, तो जो सच आप अपने बारे में महसूस करते हैं वह आपकी आत्म- छवि की वास्तव में एक कल्पना है। आप स्वयं को कमतर मानेंगे जबकि वास्तव में आप ऐसे हैं नहीं। आपको ये भी लगने लगेगा कि दूसरे लोग भी आपको इसी तरह से देखते हैं जैसै आप स्वयं को देख रहे हैं। 

असलियत में, कोई भी आपके प्रति इतना क्रूर नहीं होता जितना आप खुद अपने लिए बन रहे हैं। अगर एक नकारात्मक आत्म-छवि आपको पीछे खींच रही हैं तो, यही समय है जब आपकी खुद को निष्पक्ष और नई नजर से देखना होगा और अपनी शक्तियों और कमजोरियों का पुनर्मूल्यांकन करना होगा। 

अपनी खूबियों को सटीक ढंग से देखने से आप स्वयं के लिए चुनौतीपूर्ण लक्ष्य तय कर पाएंगे, बाधाओं पर जीत हासिल कर पाएंगे, और अवसरों का भरपूर फायदा उठा सकेंगे। अपनी कमजोरियों के बारे में जानकर आप पाएंगे कि आप उतने खराब नहीं हैं जितना खुद को देखते हैं। 

उन्हें निष्पक्ष ढंग से देखिए: क्या आप वाकई "बदसूरत" हैं या क्या आपको लगता है कि आपकी नाक अगर थोडी छोटी होती तो कितना अच्छा होता? क्या आप सचमुच "बेवकूफ" हैं, या क्या आपको सिर्फ घर के काम करना पसंद नहीं है? अपनी कमजोरियों को जानने का एक और फायदा यह है कि इससे आपको उन गतिविधियों और स्थितियों को चुनने में मदद मिलती है जहां आपकी कमजोरी कोई समस्या नही बनती। 

जैसे, अगर आपको पता ही कि आप गणित में विशेष अच्छे नहीं हैं, तो आप किसी ऐसे विषय में आगे की पढाई कर सकते हैं जिसमें आप बेहतर हों। अगर आप रात को जागने वाले इंसान हैं जो दिन की कक्षाओं में समय पर नहीं पहुंच पाता, तो आप ऐसी कक्षाओं का चुनाव कर सकते हैं जो देर शाम की होती हैं। जब आपको अपनी कमजोरियों का पता होता हैं तो आप उनके आसपास कुछ रचनात्मक तरीके ढूंढ सकते हैं। 

अपनी व्यक्तिगत सूची बनाएं अपनी खूबियों और खामियों के बारे में जानने का एक तरीका है एक व्यक्तिगत सूची बनाना। एक व्यक्तिगत सूची आपके जीवन के खास क्षेत्रों में सही और गलत की एक सूची होती है, जैसे आपका व्यक्तित्व, अंतरंग संबंध, सामाजिक कौशल, स्कूल में प्रदर्शन, कार्यस्थल पर प्रदर्शन और सोचने का कौशल । एक कागज पर अपनी सभी खूबियों और खामियों को लिखकर आपकी अपनी खूबियों के बारे में और सटीक नजरिया प्राप्त होगा और साथ ही आप अपनी खामियों का एक करुणामय रूप देख सकेंगे। 

इस सूची को बनाने के बाद, आप स्वयं का बेहद सटीक और न्यायपूर्ण आकलन कर पाएंगे। इस सूची वाले कागज को जहां भी जाएं अपने साथ रखें और इसे एक महीने तक हर रोज जरूर पढ़ें, खासतौर पर उस समय जब आप वेहद परेशान हों। कभी-कभी इसे जोर-जोर से भी पढ़े ताकि इसका असर और बढ़ जाए। कभी-कभी आपको अपने ही नकारात्मक विचारों के स्वरूप को काबू में करने में मुश्किल होती है, लेकिन इस नई सूची का उपयोग करके आप अपने दिमाग को अपनी खामियों और अपने सकारात्मक गुणों को स्वीकार करना सिखा पाएंगे, और आगे बढ़ सकेंगे। 

अपने शरीर को स्वीकारना पिछली गतिविधि में आपने अपनी शारीरिक रचना को किस प्रकार से परिभाषित किया था? यदि आप अधिकांश लोगों की तरह हैं तो, आप अपने बहूत से शारीरिक गुणों के समीक्षक कहै जाएंगे। दुर्भाग्य से, अगर हमारी शारीरिक रचना आकर्षक नहीं हैं तो उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा होना लगभग असंभव सी बात है।

इस तरह की अवास्तविक छवियों के जैसा बनने के लिए कोशिश करने के कारण अपने शरीर की छवि के साथ जीते हुए समस्याएँ उत्पन्न हो सकती हैं, कि आप अपने शरीर के बारे में क्या सोचते हैं और उसकी बनावट को लेकर कैसा महसूस करते हैं? अपने शरीर की छवि को खराब मानने वाले लोग उसे बड़े ही विकृत तरीके से देखते हैं। हालांकि दूसरों को वे बिल्कुल ठीक तरह से नजर आते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें लगता है कि वे बदसूरत है। 

अध्ययनों से पता चला हैं कि जीवन में अच्छा व्यक्तित्व होना बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण है। जब लोग अच्छी तरह से तैयार होते हैं और साफ सुथरे कपडे पहनते हैं, तो उनके सहपाठी और अध्यापक उनके साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करते हैं। ऐसे छात्र आकर्षक लगते हैं और उनकी अच्छी छवि सबके सामने प्रस्तुत होती हैं। कोई इसे पसंद करे या न करे, हम अपनी प्रस्तुति से दूसरों के सामने एक स्थायी छाप छोड़ जाते हैं। 

जाहिर है, इम अपना रंग-रूप नहीं चुन सकते जो हमें हमारे माता-पिता से विरासत में मिलता है। पर, हम अपनी सेहत और प्रस्तुति का अच्छा ध्यान रखना चुन सकते हैं। हम वास्तव में जैसा दिखते हैं उसके अनुसार बर्ताव करने की बजाय जैसा सोचते हैं उसके अनुसार ही व्यवहार करते हैं। अगर हम यह सोचते हैं कि हम अच्छे दिखते हैं, तो दूसरे भी ठीक ऐसा ही सोचेंगे। ऐसे लोग जो खुद को स्वीकार करते हैं ये दूसरों के लिए भी आकर्षक होते हैं। उनकी स्वस्थ आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा उनके अंदर से झलकती है। 

चाहे आप एक पुरुष हो या एक महिला, खुद को स्वीकार करने का मतलब हैं कि आप विज्ञापन छवियों को उसी रूप में देखें जिस रूप में वे हैं: यानी कुछ ही लोग होते हैं जिन्हें संभावित श्रेष्ठ स्थितियों में फोटो खींचने के लिए पैसा दिया जाता हैं। अपने हो शरीर के दुश्मन बनने की बजाए, खुद के मददगार बनना सीखिए। न सिर्फ इस बात की सराहना कीजिए कि आप कैसे दिखते हैं बल्कि यह भी देखिये कि यह क्या कर सकता हैं। खुद को ये याद दिलाइए कि आप केवल एक मात्र शरीर नहीं हैं बल्कि एक संपूर्ण व्यक्ति हैं एक शक्ति, आत्मा, और एक मस्तिष्क वाली शारीरिक रचना। 

आप एकदम ठीक हैं जितनी अच्छी तरह हम अपनी मानवीय खामियों को स्वीकार करते हैं, उतना ही ज्यादा 'हम खुद को और अपने गुणों को स्वीकार करते हैं। लेकिन आत्म-सुधार के बारे में क्या? क्या हमें अपनी कमजोरियों को ठीक करने की ओर नहीं देखना चाहिए ? खुद को उन्नत करना एक अच्छी बात है, वह विशिष्ट व्यक्ति बनना, जो आप बनना चाहते हैं। हालांकि, आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा के लिए असली कुंजी, उसी रूप में खुद को पसंद करना और अपनी महत्ता समझना है जो अभी आप हैं। आप जैसै हैं उसी रूप में अपने लिए मूल्यवान हैं नाकि उसके लिए जो आपके पास हैं, जैसे आम दिखते हैं या जो आप करते हैं। 

आप अपनी अनुवांशिकता को बदल नहीं सकते या बीते समय में लौटकर 

एक अलग माहौल में बड़े नहीं हो सकते। उन चीजों के लिए खुद को क्यों पीडित करना और क्यों लड़ना जिसे आप बदल ही नहीं सकते? स्वयं को इस पल में आप जिन भी खामियों-कमजोरियों के साथ हैं स्वीकार करें। याद रखें कि आप एक पूर्ण इंसान है, जिसे अभी तक खोजा नहीं गया है। खुद को स्वीकार करें तथा खामियों और बाकी चीजों के साथ अपने होने का जश्न मनाएं। 

तुलना करने की आदत को दूर कीजिये 

आत्म-स्वीकृति को बढाने के लिए एक और तरीका इस बारे में जागरूक होना हैं कि आप अपनी तुलना दूसरों से किस तरह से करते हैं। हम में से बहुत से लोग सामाजिक तुलना करने के आदी होते हैं, वे अन्य लोगों के साथ अपने गुणों और उपलब्धियों की तुलना करते रहते हैं। सामाजिक तुलना दो प्रकार से होती है: अपने से नीचे की और तुलना और अपने से ऊपर की ओर तुलना, जब हम नीचे की ओर तुलना करते हैं तो, तो हम उन लोगों से अपनी तुलना करते हैं जो हमसे "निम्म" होते हैं, जैसे वे साथी छात्र जिन्हें कम अंक मिलते हैं या वे सहकर्मी जिन्हें कम पदोन्नति मिली हैं। जव हम अपने से  ऊपर को ओर तुलना करते हैं, तो हम उन लोगों के साथ तुलना करते हैं जो हमसे 'उच्च' होते हैं जैसे कि वे छात्र जिन्होंने हमसे अच्छे अंक हासिल किए हैं या वे सहकर्मी जिन्हें ज्यादा पदोन्नति मिली है। ऐसे लोग जो कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा से पीड़ित होते हैं अक्सर स्वयं को अच्छा महसूस कराने के लिए अपने से नीचे वालों के साथ अपनी तुलना करते हैं। वे स्वयं से कहते हैं, "देखो मैं उतना खराब नहीं कर रहा हू। जरा उसकी और भी देखो।" दुर्भाग्य से, नीचे की और तुलना करने से आप थोडे से समय के लिए अच्छा महसूस कर पाते हैं। आत्म-प्नतिष्ठा हमारे अंदर से आती है, न कि इस बात को जानने से कि कोई और कितना संघर्ष कर रहा है।

असली या आदर्श? 

अपने आप को अन्य लोगों से और मीडिया छवियों से तुलना करने की आदत हमारी आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा पर बहुत भारी पड़ सकती है। अपने आदर्शों के साथ खुद की तुलना करते रहने से भी ऐसा हो सकता है। हम समी की एक आदर्श छवि एक सपना या उस तरह के इंसान बनने की आदर्श चाह होती है जैसा हम बनना चाहते हैं। आपकी आदर्श छवि में आप अपनी कमजोरियों से मुक्त होते हैं पूरी तरह से संपूर्ण । हर कोई अपने को आदर्श रूप में देखना चाहता है,

Self-acceptance and self-respect

 In the previous section, we looked at how self-esteem arises and what role does self-expectancy play in more or less your self-esteem.  Now we will focus on self-acceptance.  Self-acceptance means recognizing and accepting the things that are right about you.

 Self-acceptance saves you from criticizing yourself in the event that you and others don't meet the impossible standards.  It enables you to discover yourself and express the real qualities inside you.  When you enjoy self-acceptance, you find that you are as good as you are.  What happened that many things have yet to be improved?  What happened that lack - sometimes you are late, or lose your temper or drive too fast?  Despite all this, you are worthy of respect, love, and success.  This is why influential psychologist Alfred Adler calls self-acceptance "the courage to be imperfect".

 You, flaws and all

 Your self-image reflects your level of self-acceptance.  When our self-image is healthy, we see both our strengths and weaknesses and accept them.  But when our self-image is not healthy.  Then we only pay attention to our weaknesses and begin to reject ourselves.

 The difference between those who accept themselves and those who reject themselves is not the number of weaknesses inside them, it is the way in which they see those weaknesses.  People with a positive image realize that they have a lot more power than weaknesses.  They acknowledge their weaknesses, but are not bothered by them.  They know that they are a unique gift of creation, they possess skills that no one else possesses, combining skills and personal qualities.

 How you feel about your "flaws" also affects your self-esteem.  If you feel shame or guilt about your weaknesses — even if you are proud of your strengths in other things — your self-reputation will be affected.  Now, take the example of Gary.  Gary knows that he is an excellent student and activist and is also popular among his peers.  Still, he is ashamed of his overweight.  This shame makes his entire self-image toxic.  Whenever the two think of themselves, their focus is only on their fatness.  For him, the remaining successes do not matter.

 Leiky named Ashley also has a similar problem.  He is confident about his appearance, athletic ability, and social skills, but he has many doubts about his intelligence.  In fact, she feels like an extreme fool.  Her self-acceptance is hurt further when a competent person tells her that she "does not use her mind" and "hopes are dying for her."

 Gary and Ashley are finding it difficult to separate their feelings from reality.  Since they feel incompetent, they feel that everyone else is looking at them with this view.

 Improving Negative Self-Image Crow

 If your self-image is negative, how can you change it?  First of all, you must accept that it has been spoiled.  This is not always so easy.  Once your self-image sits firmly in your mind, we "begin to accept it as completely true.

 We do not even ask ourselves whether this is wrong.  Unfortunately, if your self-image is negative, then the truth you feel about yourself is actually a fantasy of your self-image.  You will consider yourself as inferior when in reality you are not.  You will also feel that other people also look at you in the same way as you are seeing yourself.

 In reality, no one is as cruel to you as you are being to yourself.  If a negative self-image is holding you back, this is the time when you have to look at yourself objectively and fresh and re-evaluate your strengths and weaknesses.

 By observing your strengths accurately, you will be able to set challenging goals for yourself, overcome obstacles, and take full advantage of opportunities.  Knowing your weaknesses, you will find that you are not as bad as you see yourself.

 Look at them objectively: Are you really "ugly" or do you think how nice it would have been if you had a little nose?  Are you really "stupid", or don't you just like doing household chores?  Another advantage of knowing your weaknesses is that it helps you to choose activities and situations where your weakness does not become a problem.

 Self-expectancy is not like skill or ability.  Instead, it is the confidence of you to do something important with your already existing abilities and skills.  In other words, it is not about what you can actually achieve, but rather about thinking about what you can achieve.

 Our sense of self-expectancy also affects how hard we work towards achieving the goals we choose, and how to face the obstacles that come our way.  If we are confident that we can achieve our goals, then we are determined to face difficulties and motivate ourselves.  However, if our perception is such that our goals are beyond our reach, then we will quickly give up as the difficulties grow.

 Develop self expectancy

 The level of anticipation or desire of most of us is much lower than our capacity and desires.  It is almost as if we are waiting for someone to come and confirm whether we deserve more challenges, whereas in reality, no one can do it except our own.

 There is a big true story that throws light on this thing.  Years ago, it was a stormy night when an elderly couple entered the hotel and asked for a room.  The clerk replied that.  "I'm sorry." Our hotel had come to demand a conference full of groups of people.  Usually, I would send you to another hotel if the hotel is full, but in such a storm I cannot think of asking you to go out again.  Why don't you both stay in my room? "  The young man proposed to the smiling elderly Dapanti.  "It is not a big luxurious room, but clean. I have to finish my work here in the office until the other person with the night shift arrives."

 "My name is William Waldorf-Ester, and that's no joke. You're the man I was looking for."  The hotel was the original Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and the clerk who became its first manager was George C. Bolt.

 This true story has a message for each of us.  It is not that, if we are a good person, then the real millionaire will come for us and will fulfill all our dreams in one stroke, however, who would not like to be so.  Here this message is in the form of a question: Do we need an outsider to come to believe in our dreams?  How would it be if an outsider comes and sees such abilities in us, which we seldom see in ourselves?  By keeping a real eye on these expectations, where we stand in relation to those achievements, we can succeed on our own without any help.

 Self-expectancy comes from our confidence in our ability to succeed and achieve goals.  A great way to build this trust is that we our old goals.  And test successes thoroughly.  This method helps remind us of how many skills and achievements we already have.

 Are you worried that you don't have much to be proud of?  That's an idea for loading your low self-dignity.  If you have low self-esteem, it is difficult to identify your own achievements.  Achievement or accomplishment is something you achieve through hard work, skill or conviction.  On achieving any achievement, it is not necessary that someone should honor us with a certificate or a trophy.  No one other than you can know what your biggest achievement is.  They are important only for your work.  For example, learning to operate a computer, recovering from illness, starting studies again, or coming out of the shock of a personal loss, these are some of your accomplishments.  The point is that you put your efforts, skills, and perseverance to accomplish the work that matters most to you.

 Creating Successful Experts Another great way to increase your self-expectancy is to create a series of increasingly challenging goals and get ready to meet them.  By doing this, you will get the feeling that you believe only by doing what you decide.  As you set your goals, it would be best to focus on your specific areas where you can achieve measurable results.  For example, suppose you are afraid to speak in front of people.  Now here, instead of having vague goals, "developing public speaker skills" can create a series of challenging clever goals for yourself, like:

 1. Join one four psychology class discussion per week.

 2. Join three four psychology class discussions per week.

 3. Join the discussion of psychology class everyday.

 4. Taking part in a group presentation at the end of the semester in psychology class.

 5. Performing solo at the club meeting in the next quarter.

 6. Making a speech at the school meeting at the end of the year.

 As you move from one goal to another, your confidence in your abilities will increase.  Once you have created self-expectancy in one area of ​​your life, you can move from one area to the next.

 ★ Bring out unpleasant feelings without doing anything

 ★ resort to alcohol or other drugs

 The habit of escaping reduces discomfort for some time, but leaves you with the feeling that you have been unable to cope with the situation.

कुछ परिवारों में, बच्चों को बिना शर्त सकारात्मक सम्मान प्राप्त नहीं होता। उसके बजाय उन्हें यह कहा जाता है कि अगर वे एक खास तरीके से कोई काम करेंगे तभी उम्हें प्यार और स्वीकार्यता मिलेगी। उदाहरण के तौर पर कुछ माता-पिता बच्चों से मांग रखते हैं कि उन्हें स्कूल में पूरे अंक लाने पड़ेंगे या खेल में सबसे आगे निकलना होगा। ऐसे माता-पिता अपने बच्चों को शर्त के साथ सकारात्मक सम्मान प्यार और स्वीकार्यता देते हैं कि वे एक खास तरीके से बर्ताव करेंगे।

ऐसे लोग जिन्हें पर्याप्त सामाजिक समर्थन या मदद नहीं मिलती वे कम आत्म-विश्वास से दुखी और अकेलापन का शिकार होते हैं। अकेलापन का मतलब केवल अकेला रहना भर नहीं है। अधिकांश लोगों को कभी-न-कभी या अवसर अकेला रहना पसंद होता है। वास्तविक अकेलापन अकेले रहने से आई उदासी होती है। हममें से अधिकांश लोग समय-समय पर अकेलापन से जूझते हैं। बहुत से किशोर और युवा दुनिया में अपनी जगह खोजने के लिए संघर्ष के दौरान अकेलापन का सामना करते हैं।

 For example, Ron has been working as an administrative assistant in a computer manufacturer for the past five years.  He does not hold a major position nor does he make a lot of money, but he is happy that he is contributing to the success of his company.

 He enjoys being with his friends and family and is self-confident about his future.  Because he has a healthy self-respect, he feels good about himself and his achievements.  It does not matter how small or big those achievements will seem to others.

 The foundations for conditional and unconditional self-respect are laid within the first three or four years of our lives.  When we are children, we need to understand acceptance and entitlement from our parents or carers.

 Obtaining approval from parents is extremely important for a child as parents are protective and protective of a developing mind, and at the same time represent physical and mental reflexes.

 If our parents show love, nurture, acceptance, encouragement, and support, then we make ourselves acceptable and thus develop a positive self-reputation.

 The way parents demonstrate their love and acceptance also has a profound impact on our developing self-esteem.  Children and adolescents seek to receive unconditional positive respect, love and acceptance, regardless of their particular behavior.  Children and adolescents who receive unconditional positive respect. They are successful in developing self-respect.

 In some families, children do not receive unconditional positive respect.  Instead, they are told that they will get love and acceptance only if they do something in a particular way.  For example, some parents demand from the children that they have to bring full marks to school or get to the forefront of sports.  Such parents give positive respect, love and acceptance to their children with the condition that they will behave in a special way.

 Children of such families typically have lower self-esteem development.  Instead of accepting them as they are, they are accepted as what they do and how well they do.  They are able to satisfy themselves only when they perform well at a particular level.  As an adult, they feel that their eligibility is dependent on a specific goal or outcome, such as earning a certain amount, appearing in a special way, or earning a fixed item.  If they fail to live up to their impossible standards, then they feel bad about themselves.

 Help and Loneliness When we grow up, that is, we need acceptance and love till we reach adulthood, it does not end.  No matter how old we are, we all need to feel that in our social environment, we are given attention, we get praise, and our value should be increased.  The good words and actions of other people who help us, are value-added, worry-free and connect with a community that we call social help.  Social support also promotes self-respect.

 Social help comes in two basic forms: emotional help and emotional help. Emotional help is trust, compassion, care, love.  Acceptance has to be taken care of and unconditional.  In practical help, one has to help by giving resources, such as giving money, labor, time, advice and information.  The person who gives you emotional help listens to your thoughts and feelings, encourages, hugs you, and reminds you of your importance.  The person who provides you with practical help helps you at that time. You need to get any advice, job, loan, take you to the doctor, or help in any other good work.

 People who do not get enough social support or help are hurt and lonely with low self-confidence.  Loneliness does not mean just being alone.  Most people like to be alone sometimes or on occasion.  The real loneliness is the sadness that comes from being alone.  Most of us struggle with loneliness from time to time.  Many teenagers and youth face loneliness during the struggle to find their place in the world.

 Shyness and self-respect

 People suffering from shyness often feel extremely lonely.  Such shyness arises out of fear of worry about what people think of us in social situations.  Extreme shyness leads us to distraction, the result of which is that we are barely able to talk to others or we can get eye to eye.

 People suffering from low self-esteem often experience shyness.  They do not feel comfortable with themselves, which also makes them difficult to be comfortable with others.  Even they abstain from getting up and running with people everyday so that no one faces or criticizes them.  They are even more misunderstood and feel most isolated in challenging or awkward situations.

 Both loneliness and shyness can be harmful to self-esteem.  They can cause even more damage when you start blaming yourself for erosion or social erosion.  If you lack social skills, then it becomes very difficult for you to take any initiative yourself.  Here it becomes important to convince oneself that there are people who love and appreciate you.

 To overcome loneliness, you need to expand your social support group to win over arrogance.  The first step is to do it yourself first - instead of waiting for people to take an interest in you, demonstrate active interest towards others.  For example, find out the interests of friends, family, or family members.  Take initiative to provide social help to others.  For example, if a fellow student is at home due to illness, take the initiative on your own and come in with your copy.

 Also use your loneliness time to explore your personal interests, for example it would be good to have a school join a group, neighborhood gathering or voluntary plan where you can build a sense of community.  In addition, you can also improve your relationship and communication skills, such as being sensitive and actively listening to others;  This will give you more confidence in your ability to communicate with others.

 If you have a large social group, but then you often feel lonely, check the quality of your relationships.  Do you maintain friendship or have romantic relationships that are not flourishing properly?  Do you feel lonely even when you are with your friends?  If yes, then you should look for new friends.

 Increase your self-esteem

 We have seen how important positive experiences acquired in childhood are necessary for healthy self-esteem, but what can you do if you are an adult and have low self-esteem?  Yes!  The good news about Atma… Reputation is that we can get it as much as we want.  No matter what kind of environment we come from or how our genetic design is, we can still learn to value ourselves.

 Not everyone gets gifted self-esteem from their parents.  To succeed, many people have to earn respect for themselves.  As an adult, regardless of childhood experience, we have the chance to achieve our positive self-esteem, which we aspire to.

 Not all successful people grow up feeling good about themselves.  Often they have to learn to like themselves through practice.  Author Dyl takes the example of Diana Schwartz, who has struggled with a lack of self-respect from childhood to her adult life.  When she began recording her independent songs, she often faced resistance from her male colleagues who felt that a woman would not survive in the competitive environment of the music industry.

 Schwartz also suspected himself.  However, his songs met with great success thanks to his determination to break this conservative notion of the music industry.  He began giving speeches at gatherings in the music industry, and made a more successful livelihood as a writer, and helped people build their self-esteem.  He learned to like himself after fulfilling his dreams and overcoming challenges.
