आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा का सामर्थ्य

आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा एक सफल इंसान के सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बुनियादी गुणों में से एक है। आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा का तात्पर्य अपने आप में विश्वास रखना और अपने लिए सम्मान पाना है। किसी को प्रतिष्ठा देने का मतलब हैं, उस इंसान के गुणों की प्रशंसा करना या उन्हें सराहना। जब आप खुद को सम्मान देते हैं, तब, आप एक इंसान के तौर पर स्वयं को सम्मान देते हैं, या अपनी सराहना करते हैं। आप जीवन की चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए अपनी क्षमता में विश्वास रखते हैं, और आपको लगता हैं कि आप सफलता और खुशी पाने योग्य हैं। आपको एक स्वस्थ आत्म-प्रतिष्ठित इंसान बनने के लिए खुद को “ नंबर 1 " या सर्वश्रेष्ठ बनने को जरूरत भी नहीं है। आपको लगता है आपके अंदर ऐसी क्षमता है जिसका अभी तक उपयोग नहीं किया गया हैं और आप उस क्षमता का निवेश और परीक्षण करने के लिए उत्सुक हैं। यह आपको कड़ी मेहनत करने और सफ़ल होने के लिए प्रेरित करता है। स्वस्थ आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा के साथ लोग ईमानदारी से खुद के लिए कह सकते हैं कि "मैं वास्तव मैं अपने आप को पसंद करता हूं। मुझे खुशी है कि मैं ऐसा हूं। बल्कि मैं वर्तमान समय में या इतिहास में हुए अन्य किसी व्यक्ति की तरह होने की बजाय स्वयं मैं बना रहना चाहूगा।" 

स्वस्थ आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा, अहंकार, घमंड, दंभ, आत्मप्रशंसा या श्रेष्ठता की भावना जैसी नहीं होती है। वास्तव में, ऐसे लोग, जो ये लक्षण दिखाते हैं वे कभी-कभी अपनी कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा को छुपाने की कोशिश कर रहे होते हैं। जब आपके पास स्वस्थ आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा होती हैं, तो आप अपने गुणों और महत्व को सराहना करते हैं, लेकिन आपको यह भी एहसास होता है कि कोई भी व्यक्ति आप से अधिक या कम योग्य या महत्वपूर्ण नही है। दूसरी और कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोग जोखिम लेने से डरते हैं, उम्हें भरोसा नहीं होता कि वे कभी सफ़ल हो पाएंगे और समस्याओं और बाधाओं को नाकामी के रूप में देखने की उनको आदत बन जाती है। इस तरह से वे एक ऐसे चक्र की ओर जाने लगते हैं जहां कम प्रयास, स्वीकृत नाकामी, और कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा होती है। 

उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा के प्रभाव 

उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोग आत्म-विश्वसी होते हैं। वे जानते हैं कि वे महत्वपूर्ण और मूल्यवान व्यक्ति हैं। वे अपने अंदर गहराई में, अपने स्वयं के मूल्यवान होने की भावना का आनंद उठाते हैं, जो उम्हें अपने लक्ष्यों और खुशी को प्राप्त करने के लिए स्वतंत्र 

बनाती है। जब आपके पास उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा होती है तो आपकी इच्छा जोखिम लेने की होती है, आपको अपने सफल होने का पूरा भरोसा होता है, आप अपनी असफलताओं को अपने प्रयासों को दुगना करने की एक प्रेरणा के रूप में लेते हैं। बदले में, यह आपको ऊर्जावान कर नई सफलताएं पाने के लिए तैयार करते हैं। उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा के अन्य लाभ भी हैं। जब आप उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा का आनंद लेते हैं तब आप निम्नलिखित बातें कर सकते हैं: 

★ अपनी शक्तियों और कमजोरियों को स्वीकारना 

★ अपने सच्चे विचारों और भावनाओं को व्यक्त करना 

★ अन्य लोगों के साथ भावनात्मक संबंध बनाना 

★ प्रशंसा करना और प्राप्त करना 

★ स्नेह देना और प्राप्त करना 

★ नए विचारों और अनुभवों को आजमाना

★ अपनी रचात्मकता को व्यक्त करना

★ स्वयं के लिए खड़ा होना

★ तनाव और गुस्से से शांति से निपटना 

★ भविष्य की ओर उम्मीद से देखना 

अध्ययनों से पता चला है कि उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोग अपने लक्ष्यों का पीछा करते हैं। लोग और परिस्थितियां उनके लिए रुकावट नहीं बनती। वे चाहते हैं कि उन्हें और ज्यादा चुनौती भरे काम मिले ताकि उन्हें ज्यादा कड़ी मेहनत करनी पड़े। साथ ही वे आत्म-विश्वास के साथ ऐसे लोगों से रिश्ता रखते हैं जो उनको अच्छे लगते हैं। उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोगों के मन में ठुकराए जाने का डर नहीं होता, इसलिए वे दूसरों से संपर्क बनाने से नहीं हिचकते। 

उच्च आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा आपको अपने लिए सुनहरे अवसरों का निर्माण करने में मदद करती हैं। मान लीजिए कि आप कोई नई या बड़ी नौकरी खोज रहे हैं। स्वयं अपने बारे में अच्छा महसूस करने की भावना आपको आगे ले जाएगी और कुछ नया आजमाने की चुनौती लेने देगी। भले ही, आपको लगे कि वह चुनौती आपके लिए सही नहीं है, लेकिन फिर भी आप अपने खुद के मूल्यवान होने की भावना को बचाए रखेंगे। आप अपने बरे में और अपनी पसंद के बारे में अच्छी तरह जान पाएंगे। 

कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा के प्रभाव 

बहुत से लोग कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा से पीड़ित होते हैं। कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा ऐसी भावना पैदा करती है जो कहती है कि, "मैं कुछ नहीं कर सकता।" कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोगों का मानना होता है कि उनके जीवन का कोई खास मतलब नहीं है, और वे हमेशा दुखी ही रहेंगे। उन्हें अपने कौशल पर भरोसा नहीं होता और यहाँ तक कि वे अपनी सबसे बड़ी उपलब्धि को भी स्वीकार नहीं करते। इस तरह से खुद को नीचा मानने के कारण अवसाद, चित्ता, या सामाजिक भय पैदा हो सकता है। 

 

कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोग दूसरों की बातों और कार्यों से आसानी से आहत होते हैं। वास्तव में, कम आत्म प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोग स्वयं के मूल्यों की तुलना में दूसरों के विचारों और फैसलों को ज्यादा महत्व देते हैं। जब कोई फैसला नकारात्मक होता है तो ऐसे लोग अत्यधिक आहत हौते हैं और वे उदास हो जाते हैं। वे स्वयं को अयोग्य मानते हैं, अपनी ही क्षमताओं पर शक करते हैं, और स्वयं के बारे में अपनी ही राय को और कमजोर कर लेते हैं। 

इसके अलावा, कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोग अक्सर: 

★ दूसरें लोगों पर भरोसा नहीं करते 

★ उन्हें अंतरंग संबंध विकसित करने में कठिनाई होती है 

★ गलतियों का डर सताता है और फैसले लेने में परेशानी होती है 

★ लगातार खुद की आलोचना करते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें दूसरों के द्वारा की गई आलोचना से निपटने में परेशानी होती है

★ हमेशा समस्याओं, संकट, और विफलता की उम्मीद करते हैं 

★ अपनी जरूरतों की अनदेखी करते हैं 

★ गलत मांग के आगे हार जाते हैं 

★ आकर्षण का केंद्र बनना नापसंद करते हैं 

★ अपने सच्चे विचारों और भावनाओं को दूसरों से छिपाते हैं 

★अस्वीकृति और खारिज किए जाने के भय में रहते हैं 

★ दूसरो पर बोझ बने होने की चिंता लगी रहती है 

★ उन्हें लगता हैं कि उनका ही जीवन उनके काबू में नहीं है  

★ जीवन की खुशी खोने लगते हैं 

आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा को समझना 

कम आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा वाले लोग खुद के ही नाकाम रहने की उम्मीद करते हैं; वे विफलता को अपने जीवन के एक अग्नि अंग के रूप में देखते हैं। इसी से व्याकुलता पैदा होती है, जो चिंता और घबराहट की एक सामान्य भावना हैं जिसका कोई विशेष कारण नहीं होता। जब भी कठिन परिस्थिति से सामना हो तो थोड़ी घबराहट होना एक सामान्य बात हैं। उदाहरण के तौर पर, लोग जब किसी अनजाने शहर में गुम हो जाते हैं या उनके परिवार का कोई सदस्य बीमार होता हैं तो वे घबरा जाते हैं। इस तरह की चिंता उन्हे सचेत बनाए रखती है और स्थिति से निपटने में मददगार भी हाती है। 

हालाँकि, व्याकुलता उस समय नुकसान पहुचाती है, जब ये किसी समस्या के हल हो जाने के बाद भी बनी रहती है। जब आप व्याकुल हौते हैं, तो किसी लक्ष्य तक पहुंचने के लिए जरूरी काम पूरे करना मुश्किल हो जाता हैं, भले ही फिर वह किसी परीक्षा के लिए तैयारी करना हो या, नौकरी के चयन के लिए जाना हो, या डॉक्टर से समय लेना हो। इससे आपकी आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा और कम होती जाती है। 

आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा की उत्पत्ति 

आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा कहां से आती है? दूसरों की तुलना में कुछ लोगों में से ज्यादा क्यों होती है? कुछ लोगों को अपने किसी भी काम की शुरुआत से ही बहुत संघर्ष करना पड़ता है। एक प्राचीन चीनी कहावत कहनी है, "एक बच्चे का जीवन कागज के एक टुकड़े की तरह है जिस पर हर एक राहगीर अपने निशान चोड़ जाता है।" हम अपने बच्चो को आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा के बारे में सिखा नहीं सकते। हम केवल उनके कच्चे मन वाली पट् टी पर कुछ सकारात्मक छाप और निशान बनाकर उन्हें खुद को अपनी आत्म-प्नतिष्ठा अपने ही अंदर खोजने में मदद कर सकते हैं। सभी सकारात्मक प्रेरणाएं, आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा में निहित होती हैं- जिनका विकास बाकी गुणों की तरह ही होता है, जो अभ्यास से ही आती हैं। आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा को एक चार पैरों वाली कुर्सी या मेज की तरह सोचें। 

         

अपनेपन की भावना 

आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा का सबसे पहला चरण है अपनेपन की भावना। हम सभी के मन में यह भावना होती है कि हम अपने से बड़ी किसी विशालतम इकाई का एक हिस्सा हैं। यह जरूरत, जिसे मनोवैज्ञानिक संबद्धता की शक्ति कहते हैं, इसमें इंसान, जगह और संपत्ति शामिल होती है। अपनेपन के लिए हमारा अंतर्मन चाहता है कि हमारे अपने हमें चाहें, स्वीकार करें, हम साथ-साथ खुशियां मनाएं और प्रेम करें यह वास्तव में बहुत शक्तिशाली भावना है। यह भावना एक विशाल परिवार, दोस्तों और साथियों के बीच अच्छे संबंधों के बारे में बताती है। इससे यह भी समझ आता हैं कि क्यों कुछ किशोर गलत संगत में पड़ जाते हैं। वे अपनापन चाहते हैं, भले ही वह गलत हों। 

बच्चों को अपने परिवार की विरासत पर गर्व होना चाहिए जहां वे सुरक्षित महसूस करते हैं, जहां उन्हें प्यार और सम्मान मिलता है जहां बच्चे अपने दोस्तों कां लाना चाहते हैं, न कि ऐसी जगह जिसे वे जितनी जल्दी हो सके छोड़ना चाहते हैं।

स्वयं की पहचान की भावना 

दूसरा चरण है, स्वयं की पहचान की भावना, जो अपनेपन की भावना का पूरक है। कोई मी इंसान दूसरे के जैसा बिल्कुल नहीं हो सकता, यहां तक कि जुड़वा भी एक जैसे नहीं होते। हम समी इंसान प्रतिमा और लक्षण के अद्वितीय (अनोखा) संयोजन है, जो इससे पहले कभी अस्तित्व में नहीं थे और फिर कभी उसी स्वरूप में अस्तित्व में नहीं होंगे। (इससे समझ आता है कि ज्यादातर माता-पिता यह मानते हैं कि उनके बच्चे अलग-अलग ग्रहों से आए हैं!) 

बच्चों का बड़े होते और खेलते हुए अवलोकन कस्ना चाहिए: उनके सीखने के तरीके, वे अपने खाली समय में क्या करना पंसद करते हैं, और उनकी अद्वितीय सकारात्मक प्रतिभा की खोज करते रहना चाहिए- ताकि इन सबसे उनके कौशल को बढ़ाया जा सके प्रतिभा को मापने के लिए परीक्षाफल सही साधन नहीं हैं। ये अक्सर केवल अनुशासन, याददाश्त और ध्यान देने की अवधि को मापते हैं, साथ ही केवल एक प्रमावी शिक्षक की उपस्थिति को बताते हैं। 

पात्रता की भावना 

आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा का तीसरा चरण स्वयं के पात्र होने की भावना है, ऐसी भावना जिससे लगे कि मुझे खुशी है कि मैं ऐसा हूं, अपने खानदान और परिवार के साथ, मेरा शरीर, मेरे अद्वितीय विचार सब कुछ मेरे हैं। अपनी स्वयं की स्वीकृति के बिना, हमारे पास दूसरों को देने के लिए कुछ नहीं होता। अगर हम खुद को प्रेम के योग्य नहीं समझते तो, यह कहना मुश्किल है कि दूसरे भी हमसे प्रेम करेंगे, इसकी बजाए हम दूसरों को अपना मूल्यांकनकर्ता या न्यायकर्ता के रूप में देखेंगे। 

यही कारण हैं कि बच्चों के लिए, खासतौर पर, बिना शर्त वाले प्यार का अनुभव करने और कर्ता को कर्म से और प्रदर्शनकर्ताओं का प्रदर्शन से अलग करना सीखने की जरूरत होती हैं। यह संदेश कि: “चाहे कुछ भी हो जाए, मैं तुमसे प्यार करता हूं और तुम्हारे लिए हमेशा यहां हूं" बच्चों में पात्रता या आंतरिक गुणों की भावना विकसित करने के लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अवधारणाओं में से एक हैं। हर फटकार के बाद उन्हें" यह जताने की जरूरत होती है कि माता-पिता उन्हें प्यार करते हैं। हर रात सोने जाने से पहले, उन्हें इस आश्वासन की जरूरत होती हैं कि भले दिनभर में कुछ भी हुआ हो, उसकी परवाह किए बिना उनके माता-पिता उनसे बिना शर्त प्यार करते ही हैं

अपनेपन की भावना

पात्रता की भावना 

आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा का तीसरा चरण स्वयं के पात्र होने की भावना है, ऐसी भावना जिससे लगे कि मुझे खुशी है कि मैं ऐसा हूं, अपने खानदान और परिवार के साथ, मेरा शरीर, मेरे अद्वितीय विचार सब कुछ मेरे हैं। अपनी स्वयं की स्वीकृति के बिना, हमारे पास दूसरों को देने के लिए कुछ नहीं होता। अगर हम खुद को प्रेम के योग्य नहीं समझते तो, यह कहना मुश्किल है कि दूसरे भी हमसे प्रेम करेंगे, इसकी बजाए हम दूसरों को अपना मूल्यांकनकर्ता या न्यायकर्ता के रूप में देखेंगे। 

यही कारण हैं कि बच्चों के लिए, खासतौर पर, बिना शर्त वाले प्यार का अनुभव करने और कर्ता को कर्म से और प्रदर्शनकर्ताओं का प्रदर्शन से अलग करना सीखने की जरूरत होती हैं। यह संदेश कि: “चाहे कुछ भी हो जाए, मैं तुमसे प्यार करता हूं और तुम्हारे लिए हमेशा यहां हूं" बच्चों में पात्रता या आंतरिक गुणों की भावना विकसित करने के लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अवधारणाओं में से एक हैं। हर फटकार के बाद उन्हें" यह जताने की जरूरत होती है कि माता-पिता उन्हें प्यार करते हैं। हर रात सोने जाने से पहले, उन्हें इस आश्वासन की जरूरत होती हैं कि भले दिनभर में कुछ भी हुआ हो, उसकी परवाह किए बिना उनके माता-पिता उनसे बिना शर्त प्यार करते ही हैं

बाहर से थोपी गई एक प्रेरणा से बिल्कुल उलट, अपनेपन, स्वयं की पहचान और पात्रता की एक स्वस्थ भावना केवल अंर्तमन के केंद्र में स्थापित की जा सकती है। उनके बिना, हम अपनी कम होती आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा का घड़ा भरने के लिए लगातार दूसरों पर निर्भर बने रहते हैं- साथ ही दूसरों के छुपे इरादों पर संदेह करते हैं। अपने बारे में दूसरों की राय को स्वीकार या अस्वीकार कर, हम आलोचनाओं को लेकर बचाव की मुद्रा में आ जाते हैं और अपनी ही तारीफ़ में भ्रमित हो जाते हैं और कितनी भी तारीफ इस तरह के गुम हुए गुण की जगह नहीं ले सकती। 

अपने सपनों में विस्वास करने के लिए भी अपनेपन, स्वयं की पहचान और पात्रता को एक स्वस्थ भावना होना जरूरी होती है। जब मुश्किल समय हो, ऐसी घडी में जब आपके पास पूरा करने को बस एक ही सपना बचा हो, तब तो ये सबसे ज्यादा जरूरी होती है। 

नियंत्रण और क्षमता की भावना 

ऐसे कई कारण हैं कि ऐसे कई बच्चे जो अभी उच्च विद्यालय में और कॉलेजों में पढ़ रहे हैं उन्हें लगता है कि उन्होंऩे तो बस जीतने के लिए जन्म लिया है। बड़े और मददगार संयुक्त परिवार- कई मामलों में तो छोटे परिवार भी अब लुप्त होते जा रहे हैं। प्रेरणास्रोत तेजी से बुरे बनते जा रहै है। व्यापारिक मीडिया युवाओं के मन पर लगातार अपराध, हिंसा, अय्याशी, और पलायन करने के दूसरे स्वरूपों को परोसकर हमले कर रहा है। लेकिन कोई कूछ भी सफाई दे, समाज में रचनात्मक काम करने वाले लोग और नेता बिना किसी रचनात्मक कल्पना के उभरकर सामने नहीं आ सकते, जो उनके लिए एक इंधन का काम करती है-इसलिए ऐसी कुंठा, हताशा और झिझक जो हम अक्सर कई लोगों में देखते और सुनते हैं,चिंता का एक कारण बनती है। अवसरों की बजाय दुनिया की समस्याओ पर ज्यादा जोर देने के कारण जिस भविष्य की वे कल्पना करते हैं उसमें न तो उन्हें खुशी मिलती है और न ही सफ़लता। 

आत्म-प्रतिष्ठा का चौथा चरण नियंत्रण और क्षमता की भावना है, जो आत्म-प्रभावकरिता भी है, अपनी क्षमता में काम करने का एक ऐसा विश्वास जो आपको अनिश्चित और बदलती दुनिया में नियंत्रित बनाए रखता है। पात्रता की भावना आपको किसी भी काम में भावनात्मक सहारा देती है, लेकिन उसके लिए आपके अंदर आत्म-प्रभावकारिता की भावना भी चाहिए, इसलिए नियंत्रण और क्षमता की भावना आपके अंदर विश्वास भरती है कि आप सफल होंगे। यही वजह है कि बच्चों को जितनी जल्दी हो सके छोटे-छोटे काम खुद करने की जिम्मेदारी दे देनी चाहिए ताकि वे अपने विकल्पों को चुनने, खुद प्रयास करने और चीजों का अभ्यास करने की आदतों को सीख सकें, जिसका नतीजा सफ़लता के रूप में होता है। उन्हें जितनी ज्यादा सफलता मिलेगी, उनका आत्म-विश्वास उतनी ही तेजी से बढ़ेगा और आगे चलकर वे बडी जिम्मेदारियाँ लेना चाहेंगे। 

बढ़ते बच्चों को, माता-पिता की आय की परवाह के बिना, घर के कुछ खास कामों में हाथ बंटाने, ड़यूटी करने का और खुद पर गर्व करने का मौका देना चाहिए। हममें से हर एक को ये सीखना चाहिए कि समस्याएं और नाकामियां सिर्फ अस्थायी असुविधाएं होती हैं, लेकिन वे सिखाने वाले अनुभव होते ही यह सोच कि नाकामियां असफलताएं नहीं होती, उन्हें कामयाबी में बदलने के लिए सुधार करना जरूरी हैं, लगातार जुटे रहना जरूरी हैं।

चक भी क्रोधित हो उठा, उसने कहा कि सारा बेवजह जात को बढा रही है। इससे सारा का गुस्सा और भी बढ़ गया, क्योंकि इससे उसे भावनात्मक दुर्बलता का अहसास हुआ-चक उसकी भावनाओ को गंभीरता से नहीं ले रहा था। सारा के प्रति चक का क्रोध इस अहसास के डर से उपजा था कि शायद उनके रिश्ते में दरार आ चुकी है। उन दोनों के लिए इस समस्या का रचनात्मक हल यह होता कि वे अपने अहसास जाहिर करते और फिर मिलकर समाधान खोजते। 

अपने निजी स्ट्रेसर्स की पहचान करने की तरह आपके निजी क्रोध को प्रेरित करने वाली बातों (ट्रिगर्स) जानना भी ज़रूरी है। ट्रिगर्स ऐसे लोग, परिस्थितियां या घटनाएं होते हैं जो क्रोध भड़काते हैं। 

शांत रहें जब आप खुद को क्रोधित होता महसूस करें, तो शांत बने रहने पर केंद्रित हों। उदाहरण के लिए, यदि आप किसी दो साल के बच्चे की देखभाल करते हों और उसे सुलाने के लिए बिस्तर में लिटा आने के बाद जब आप कुछ पढ़ रहे हों और उसे बिस्तर से निकलकर आता देखें, तो ऐसे में आपकी अनेक प्रतिक्रियाएं हो सकती हैं। 

एक यह भी हो सकती है कि आप क्रोधित हो उठें और कहें, "यह बच्चा कभी भी शांत नहीं रहता! " क्रोधित होकर आप बच्चे पर चिल्ला सकते हैं, और फिर इतने दुखी हो जाएंगे कि अपनी पढाई पर ध्यान नहीं लगा पाएंगे। अन्य प्रतिक्रिया यह सोचने की हो सकती है, ' हम दोनों को आराम करने की ज़रूरत है। मैं एक विराम लूंगा और बिस्तर में लेटकर कोई प्यारी कहानी पढूंगा ताकि हम दोनों एक साथ कूछ अच्छा समय बिता सके।' 

बच्चे को फिर से बिस्तर पर लिटा आने के बाद आप शांत तथा अपने काबू में रह सकते हैं और अपने काम पर फिर से ध्यान लगा सकते हैं। किसी परिस्थिति के बारे में आप किस तरह से सोचते हैं, यह प्राय: उस बारे में आपके अहसास तय करता है। किसी परेशान कर देने वाली स्थिति का सामना करने पर आपा खो देने के बजाय यह अहसास करें कि आप क्रोध महसूस कर रहैं हैं और फिर पता लगाएं कि आप क्यों क्रोधित हैं।

लोग प्राय: क्रोधित हो जाते हैं क्योकि उनको लगता हैं कि परिस्थिति उनके खिलाफ हैं। कभी-कभी बातें खिलाफ होती हैं, और हर परिस्थिति में अनुकूलता खोजना निष्फल प्रयास हो सकता हैं। यह ज़रूरी हैं कि हम वे बातें स्वीकार करना सीखें जिंहे हम बदल नहीं सकते। इसके बजाय हम बदल सकने वाली चीजों को बदलने के लिए अपनी ऊर्जा इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं।

Dealing with anger

 Uncontrolled stress is a major hindrance in the attainment of our goals - similarly uncontrolled anger.  A strong feeling of unhappiness, dissatisfaction or hostility is anger, which is a normal reaction in distressing situations.  Although most of the times anger does not really help us.

 It draws our energy and distracts us from the path of our goals.  When we are angry, we feel helpless, even more frustrated.

 You cannot control every situation that makes you angry.

 However, you can control your anger, and decide how you want to react to a situation.  When you begin to feel anger, use your energy consciously to find solutions to the problem that is causing anger.

 Remember Adrenaline?  Anger is a trigger that releases adrenaline from your body, and also a stress hormone called cartisole.  When these two hormones act together in your body, your immune system becomes weak and weak in case of diseases.

 Duke University's Intrepid Radford Williams, MD, states that, "Every four when you're angry, it affects your health." When your blood pressure increases, the heartbeat increases, and  When adrenaline starts coming out, try to control your anger.  Remember that every disturbing situation is not a struggle for life and death.  Instead of getting angry with others, try to understand the source of your negative feelings and try to convert them into creative words and actions.

 You can also do something at home when you feel angry or sad that your negative feelings will come out in the proper way, such as walking around the block, or listening to a song of relief.  Self-awareness is an important requirement to overcome anger.  The more self-aware you are, the better you will be at understanding the real causes of your anger, and in coping with the ups and downs of daily life.

 Anger response

 Anger is an emotion, not an action.  However, people often express their anger through acts of self-defense: they shout, shout, even attack someone.  Do they feel better after getting angry like this?  No.  People who are often victims of emotion often feel bad about themselves.  They become distraught and uncontrollable and the problems they are angry about remain the same even after their anger has passed.

 People often express their anger in two ways: sometimes we turn anger outward, sometimes we attach it internally.  Anger with an internal attitude is often called 'healthy' anger because we express it openly.

 However, if it causes physical or mental harm, it cannot be called healthy.  Extrovert anger often manifests as aggression, behavior that is done to harm or hurt someone or something (including you, an angry person).  People who adopt aggressive attitude harm themselves as well as others.  Aggressive people often express their anger in the following ways:

 ★ shouting, abusing, or abusing others

 ★ physical abuse

 ★ irrational demands

 ★ bullying

 ★ Criticism and commentary from others

 ★ hostile disagreements with others

 ★ Think of revenge fantasy

 The anger expressed internally appears to be relatively safe.  But is that really so?  This can often cause far-reaching damage to our relationships, and to our physical and mental health.  Internal anger manifests as follows:

 ★ ridicule or bitterness

 ★ ignore or despise

 ★ silence attitude

 ★ annoyance

 ★ widespread distrust of others

 ★ Feeling of suffering

 ★ jealousy or jealousy

 ★ "I'd rather die than argue with someone."

 Most of us, at some time, feel these things.  Although passive-aggressive people think the same way most of the time or always.

 To reduce their troubles and unhealthy thoughts, it is important to muster up the courage to express your feelings peacefully and with a solid foundation, and allow others to do the same.

 Instead of seeing every situation as a win-lose situation, learn to accept and try to make compromises.  Also, try to make sure that your words and actions are compatible with your feelings.

 Creative handling of anger

 It is far better to use it to increase your self-awareness than to suppress anger, or to express it aggressively or to turn it into passive-aggression.

 The half of dealing with anger constructively is to understand the reasons for it, remain calm, act positively, and have a definitive (concrete) conversation to improve the situation.

 Why am I angry?  Finding out what makes you angry, and why, is the first step towards conquering anger.  According to Sandy Livingstone, author of Dealing with Anger, anger arises when we feel that something is going to happen:

 ★ will frighten us

 ★ will hurt us

 ★ will endanger us

 ★ will make us feel powerless.

 The fear of injury or powerlessness is often emotional rather than physical.  See Sara's example: Between a newborn, part-job job, and a night course of management, Sara found difficulty in keeping her stress levels under control.

 Before the baby was born, she and her husband, Chuck, agreed to take care of the child with responsibility.  On returning home one evening, Sarah noticed that Chuck had neither bathed the child nor made any preparations to eat.  Being hungry and tired, often irritable, Sara suddenly burst.

 Chak also got angry, he said that Sara is unnecessarily increasing the caste.  This further aggravated Sarah's anger, as it made her feel emotional-weak - Chuck was not taking her feelings seriously.  Chuck's anger at Sara stems from the fear of realizing that their relationship may have been broken.  For both of them, the creative solution to this problem would have been to express their feeling and then find a solution together.

 Like identifying your personal stressors, it is also important to know the triggers that inspire your personal anger.  Triggers are people, situations or events that provoke anger.

 Stay calm When you feel angry, focus on staying calm.  For example, if you take care of a two-year-old child and after you lie in bed to sleep, when you are reading something and see him coming out of bed, you may have many reactions.

 One can also be that you get angry and say, "This child is never calm!" You can shout at the child in anger, and then you will be so sad that you will not be able to concentrate on your studies.  Other reactions may be to think, 'We both need to rest.  I will take a break and lie in bed and read a lovely story so that we can spend some good time together. '

 After the child lies in bed again, you can remain calm and in control and concentrate on your work again.  How you think about a situation often determines your feelings about it.  Instead of losing your temper in the face of a disturbing situation, realize that you are feeling angry and then find out why you are angry.

 If there is another person involved, try to understand his / her point of view.  Also, try to look at the situation like a neutral audience (tamashai) with a neutral (absolute) sense.  Is there any other way of looking at this situation that can help you reduce your anger?  Many situations can cause anger or stress because you see them as unrealistic or exaggerated.  When you over-react to something, you let anger dominate you while anger is not really necessary.

 Do positive work It is easy to think that other people root for all our problems.  However, it may be that there is a problem in our perspective of others.  Instead of venting your anger and resentment towards others, learn to express your feelings calmly.  Try to resolve the current situation without raising previous issues or other disputes.  Also, asked myself these three questions:

 ★ Am I trying to change or overcome others?

 ★ Am I biased towards this person?  Am I too snobbish (find fault with others)?

 ★ Am I expecting more from the front than usual?

 ★ Do I want people to become like me?

 People often get angry because they feel that circumstances are against them.  Sometimes things are against, and finding compatibility in every situation can be a fruitless endeavor.  It is important that we learn to accept things that we cannot change.  Instead we can use our energy to change things that can change.

 How will you implement this idea?  Suppose you have to study for a test on Monday and during the weekend there is a lot of hullabaloo in your house.  Look at this situation from a realistic, practical perspective.  If you do not expect to find a quiet corner to study in your home, then plan to sit in the library and study.  It would be easier than to get angry about the noise of your home.  You can choose not to create a stressful situation for yourself.

 Try to be determined.

 Instead of resorting to aggression or passive-aggression, try to build a strong disposition.  Dissertitude (determinism) refers to the ability to express one's thoughts and feelings without violating the rights of others.  It means assuming that your thoughts and feelings are appropriate and that you have the right to express them.  Try the following things to become more determined in your dealings with others

 ★ Deal with disturbing trivia before they become anger-causing situations.

 ★ Ask for help when needed.

 ★ "refuse" to accept irrational requests.

 ★ Say the way you want to be treated when you are not.

 ★ Find a solution in which everyone concerned is interested.

 ★ Openly welcome positive, constructive criticisms and suggestions.

 ★ Accept greetings with a simple "thank you", don't prove yourself to be inferior.

 ★ Maintain calm body gesture and talk with eyes.

★ Practice listening actively: Make it appear that you want to listen carefully to the person in front, pay attention to the words and physical movements of the person in front of them, and consider their words so that they feel that what they have said.  You have heard that

 Along with learning to control your reactions to your anger, you will also learn to control the frequency of your anger.  For example, sometimes we feel angry because people criticize us or disagree with us.

 As we learn to slow down our anger and pay careful attention to it, we begin to understand that our anger does not originate from the words of others — but it arises from this secret fear hidden in us that they can be right  .  Along with increasing the number of positive reactions to anger, we also increase our flexibility and self-esteem: -

 Focusing on your goals can sometimes be challenging, especially when you are struggling with obstacles.  although

 The way you react and act on big and small failures in life plays an important role in achieving your goals.


 Stress is a natural part of life.  Stress is the physical and psychological response of a person to the demands of his life.  Stress can be positive or negative.  Eustress (positive) or good tension is a pleasant, desired tension that you can feel while playing a game or while walking.  Distress (negative) or bad stress is a stress that you may feel during illness or when there is a drastic change in life.


 Psychologist Albert Ellis believes that we create tension for ourselves because we keep giving place to irrational beliefs in our mind.  For example, in a party we may get stressed by seeing people whisper because we irrationally assume that they are cheating us.  Ellis's ABC model, given in Figure 3.2, shows how distrus (negative) results from our beliefs about events rather than actual events.  An activating (suggestive) event (A) prompts people to form an irrational or negative belief about themselves (B) leading to the outcome of the event (C).



 Stress is in the viewer's perspective.  Every person has their own factors (or causes) that create stress.  Stressor is something that causes stress.  Have you ever noticed the different ways different people react to the same event?  Thinking about going on a long walk can make you feel thrilled, while your friend may feel restless and stressed.  One of the earliest people to study stress, Dr. Hans Selye divided people into two categories: race horses and turtles.


 The race horse likes to run and it will die of suffocation when it is imprisoned in a confined space.  On the other hand, if the turtle is forced to run on the treadmill, it will die tired due to running too fast, contrary to its slow nature.  Each of us has to find a healthy level of stress, which is somewhere between the race horse and the turtle.


 Whether you are a race horse or a turtle, you may feel stressed when faced with situations that demand you to change old ways of doing or thinking.  It is normal to experience stress when faced with the following:


 ★ Demand more for school or work


 ★ changes in family relationships


 ★ new economic responsibilities


 ★ Changes in your social life


 ★ Contact new people, ideas, and situations


 ★ Anxiety or shame about sexual identity


 ★ Intrinsically born Mages, such as dilemmas.

 What happens when we experience stress?  Rattressors induce a response from the independent nervous system (ANS), which is the part of the nervous system that sends impulses to the heart, muscles, and glands.  The ANS controls many body functions, including heart and palpitations, and digestion.

 In the ANS, there are two subsystems, the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system. In dangerous or stressful situations, the sympathetic nervous system increases your heart rate and breathing and slows down the digestion of food.  In calm conditions, the parasympathetic nervous system reduces your heart rate and breathing and makes food digestible.


 The ANS responds to stressors by three physiological levels: warning, resistance, and exhaustion.


 In the alert level, the body faces the stressor and prompts it to face the threat.  For example, suppose you lie in bed and then suddenly you remember that you have an exam tomorrow.  Your ANS responds by warning.


 In the resistance phase, the body acts to resist the stressor, and leaves adrenaline to energize itself.  Stressors may persist, but the symptoms that form the warning level disappear.  You get up, light the lights and start making action plans.

 In the exhaustion level, which comes after a large period of stress, the body may no longer be able to resist the retressors.  If the body reaches the exhaustion level, then the immune system becomes weak, and the body becomes vulnerable to diseases, which Cello has called adaptation disease.  These include ulcers, high blood pressure, coronary (arterial) diseases, and cancer.


 How do you know that you are going through extreme stress?  People experiencing extreme stress become impatient, angry, and tired early on average, and they suffer from physical problems such as muscle cramps, insomnia, and digestion.


 Migration responses


 In the event of a stressful situation, the desire for escape response arises rather than facing the problem present.  The exodus response is any behavior, such as thoughts or actions, that help relieve your heart and mind from difficulties.


 Some migration reactions are positive.  Going for a walk, or talking to a friend, can be a positive escape response.  Positive migration response makes you feel good in an instant creative way.


 You act in such a way that it does not harm you or cause problems.  Negative migration response, in contrast, is an escape reaction that makes you feel good for a while but actually increases your stress level.


 Over-eating, over-eating, and avoiding responsibilities include negative migration reactions.  Alcoholism and drugs are extreme reactions.  Denying is a normal negative drain response, a way to reduce anxiety by relieving your mind of painful thoughts and feelings.


 When your difficulties seem to be out of control, there is a desire to forget everything.  However, it is better to face them than to run away from your feelings.  In a distasteful situation it is common to react with stress, sorrow, or anger.  If possible, talk to a trusted family member, friend, coach or mentor about your feelings.



 Facing less stress does not mean that you will never feel overly anxious, anxious, or stressed.  Everyone feels that way — sometimes.  To be successful, you have to balance the amount of stress in your life.

 Relaxation Simple relaxation or meditation is a good way to deal with stress.  Try to sit in a comfortable position in a quiet room.  Focus your mind on one peace-giving word or saying.  Close your eyes;  Breathe deeply and slowly.  Breathe in from your stomach, not your chest.  Make your muscles feel relaxed.  Maintain this peaceful state for about 20 minutes.  Take time every day for relaxation, and you will feel better both mentally and physically.


 Listening to music is another good way to relax.  Slow singing is more relieving than fast singing, and instrumental music gives more relief than vocal music.  If you are very stressed, you can start with loud music according to your mood and then gradually move to more gentle melodies.  Choose the music of your choice, which includes classical to western or try nature recording.  Some people get relief from the waves of the sea, the sounds of rain or storm or the sounds of birds and insects in a field.

 Beholding nature can be more peaceful than listening to nature.  If you can't go to a park, natural trail, or beach, then sit in front of the bonfire or aquarium (aquarium) and get lost in yourself while watching the activities.


 The practice of progressive muscle relaxation is another way to reduce stress, in which the muscles of the whole body are often tightened and left loose.  Massage is another effective remedy for relaxation.


 Exercise is a powerful way to reduce stress.  Walking, running, aerobics, yoga, and other physical activities that help you relieve stress.  Exercise makes your heart beat faster and improves blood flow.

 Muscle stretching has a massage effect and helps in relieving tension.  Exercising also helps to reduce adrenaline in the blood.  It would be better to participate in some kind of heart related activity for 20 to 30 minutes five or more times in a week which involves so much hard work that you sweat.  It is best to do aerobic activity continuously, such as swimming, walking, jogging or cycling.


 Nutrition Eat regular, balanced meals that have high fibrous content and low saturated fat and drink plenty of water every day.  Take the whole time and eat your food slowly and happily.  Reduce salt sugar, alcoholic dosages.  Care for your body and be alert to breathtaking diets, high energy foods, and other options for proper nutrition that hunger.


 Get regular rest for at least seven hours of sleep.  Make regular rules or procedures for the preparation of sleep.  Before you go to bed, read or ponder on peace-giving thoughts or interesting thoughts.  Solve confusions before going to sleep so that they do not spoil your sleep.  Go to sleep only after taking a break if you use your mobile phone or computer more.


 Mental Discipline Practice the technique of developing concentration, freeing yourself from mind-boggling or forcibly intrusive thoughts and building concentration.  This can be done with relaxation techniques such as meditation, bio-response, and self-hypnosis.  Other techniques to develop concentration include martial arts, higher yoga, tai-chi, dramatic dance, swimming, and other rhythmic activities.



 Self-Reputation Develop your self-esteem so that you can adopt a proper attitude towards failures.  Feeling good about yourself helps you keep a positive attitude to face life's challenges.  Find opportunities to appreciate and reward your personal qualities and efforts.  Personal congratulations, positive interactions with yourself, and thinking about your accomplishments when done properly can increase your self-esteem.


 Relationships Build supportive, intimate, reliable and trustworthy relationships with people as supportive circles.  They can give direct, truthful and correct response, and can encourage and understand and accept you by encouraging and worrying about you.


 Time Management Based on your values ​​and goals, set priorities and set your time for what you want and what you need to do.  During this time also reserve time for relaxation training and meditation or contemplation, family and social activities, and giving in unexpected situations.  Identify and reduce time wasters.  Identify what prevents you from giving the necessary time to apply effective techniques of stress management.
